Global First! TÜV Rheinland Awards Perovskite IEC 63163 Application Product Certification to Mellow Energy

On June 11, 2025, at the 18th (2025) International Solar Photovoltaic and Smart Energy Conference & Exhibition (Shanghai) (Covering Energy Storage, Battery Technology and Equipment), Mellow Energy witnessed a pivotal moment — TÜV Rheinland, a world-renowned third-party testing and certification organization, officially awarded it the Perovskite IEC TS 63163:2021 Application Product Certification.

Prior to this, Mellow Energy had passed the relevant tests in May and formally obtained the certification on June 5. Professor Mai Yaohua, Founder of Mellow Energy, and Mr. Matthias Grzam, General Manager of Certification Department and Chief Certification Officer of TÜV Rheinland Greater China, were among the attendees at the certification award ceremony. The successful acquisition of this certification not only serves as authoritative recognition of Mellow Energy’s product quality but also sets a new benchmark for product quality and technical standards in the industry.

During the certification process, TÜV Rheinland’s expert team conducted comprehensive and meticulous evaluations and tests on Mellow Energy’s series of consumer-oriented mobile perovskite PV modules, strictly adhering to the IEC TS 63163:2021 standard. The certification results confirm that the relevant products exhibit stable and reliable performance, comply with the standard requirements, and possess excellent environmental adaptability, enabling their wide application in various scenarios such as mobile energy supply.

At this year’s SNEC Exhibition, Mellow Energy showcased its independently developed "OmniLux" series — a lineup of perovskiteintegrated consumer products. This series applies the excellent lowlight performance of perovskite materials to indoor light energy harvesting, an innovative application attempt that has attracted significant attention from the industry.Looking ahead, Mellow Energy will continue to expand the application scenarios of perovskite technology and contribute the global energy transition.
