On June 12, 2025, at the 18th International Solar Photovoltaic & Smart Energy Conference (SNEC PV+ 2025), Mellow Energy, together with TÜV Rheinland (Germany) and eight leading enterprises in the perovskite photovoltaic sector, officially initiated and established the "Perovskite Photovoltaic Industry Technology Promotion Alliance".

As a new-generation high-efficiency solar energy technology, perovskite photovoltaics is regarded as a key direction for next-generation photovoltaic and tandem technologies thanks to its outstanding photoelectric conversion efficiency, low-cost manufacturing potential, and flexible application scenarios.However, as the technology advances from laboratory research to commercial implementation, the industry is confronted with multiple challenges, such as the lack of unified technical standards, an incomplete quality assurance system, and barriers to upstream-downstream collaboration. These issues have become core pain points restricting the industrialization progress of perovskite photovoltaics.

As a pioneer in the commercial exploration of perovskite technology in China, Mellow Energy will deeply engage in the alliance’s core work with the dual identity of "technology exporter + ecosystem co-builder". It will focus on the development of a full-industry-chain standard system and the improvement of certification mechanisms, so as to promote the leap of perovskite technology from laboratory achievements to large-scale applications.
